I am a huge advocate of Couchsurfing! I’ve loved every experience I’ve had with the travel sharing site. While some might have a stigma about meeting strangers and sleeping on their couch, overall the people you’ll meet are more like you than you probably think.
Every time I get the chance to Couchsurf I try my best to take advantage of the situation – after all, you’re staying with someone who’s from the place you’re visiting. You never know what they could teach you that you otherwise would never have known about the area!
