To be perfectly honest, I didn’t even know that Freiburg was a city in Germany until one of my friends invited me to come visit them. The city was absolutely breathtaking in all of its natural beauty. I loved being able to just unplug for a bit, sit back and truly take a weekend for myself (which is why there isn’t really anything written up on it on the blog – oops!). Overall it was a great period of relaxation and a beautiful place filled with people who very obviously enjoy the quieter aspects of living serenely.
